For the excellence of his doctoral thesis in political science entitled: “Les parlementaires suisses entre démocratisation et professionnalisation (1910-2010): Biographie collective des élus fédéraux et réformes du Parlement helvétique”. Andrea Pilotti’s thesis, which fills an important gap in the Swiss political science literature, is distinguished by its empirical richness, historical depth, analytical finesse and comparative openness (CHF 1’000).
